Comments & Questions about this Distribution Document Topic

I have created a StandardColorsImproved topic with better font contrast so it's easier to read.

-- JbBell - 13 Mar 2002

Looks better indeed. Could your run it one more time through the script and generate XHTML compatible markp? E.g. lowercase and parameter values in double quotes.

-- PeterThoeny - 13 Mar 2002

The thing is, you wouldn't use half of these colors because of the contrast problem. Why not take the StandardColorsImproved, and take only the ones that are legible with black text?

-- JonReid - 14 Mar 2002

Wow, I just saw this for the first time just now. I'm so pleased to see this going into the Codev.BeijingRelease! Jon, you think there should be another page for RecommendedBackgroundColors?

-- GrantBow - 10 Jan 2003

Moved links to ColorScheme.

-- SamHasler - 19 Oct 2004

I really new at this so forgive my ignorance for asking but why include colors for setting web preferences that work best with white text when there isn't any control over font color in the web preferences. Unless there is control over font color and I haven't figured that out yet. So I would really appreciate it if someone would show me how to set the font color in web preferences. Thanks.

-- MikeQueripel - 11 May 2007

Default font colors are controlled by the css of the active skin. See PatternSkin. Please ask support questions in the Support web.
